Alec spent most of his career as a partner at the international law firms Loeb & Loeb and Mayer Brown, including leadership positions at the latter, and as a senior corporate counsel for the major financial service companies Fremont Investment & Loan, iStar Financial Inc. and Safehold Inc. Immediately prior to joining OLP, Alec was a senior counsel of business and talent development at the international law firm Katten Muchin Rosenman, where he helped younger lawyers with career development and learning how to be the kind of lawyers clients want and like.
With many years of experience both as an outside counsel and a corporate counsel, Alec brings a deep understanding and perspective to help guide profit and not-for-profit companies with board governance, business development, fund raising, mission fulfillment and professional development retreats.
