Bringing the Best of Suburbia into Our Cities

OLP is working with several US city parks departments and economic development agencies to reimagine how golf course land can be used more efficiently. We accepted this challenge by transforming the sport to fit on one-tenth the acreage normally required without compromising the integrity of the game. This intervention provides two important results. It allows valuable and underutilized land to be repurposed for more beneficial civic uses and attracts a wider constituency to be introduced to playing golf in a new way for the first time. Our Urban Golf concept attracted private investment immediately and a prototype is under consideration.
